Suomen Puhallinorkesteriliitto ry has a membership register based on the Data Protection Act.

Member register: According to section 11 of the Associations Act, the association must keep a list of members.

With the help of the membership register of the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association, the association's membership fees are collected and the membership magazine and newsletters are sent. Member register information is not disclosed to outside parties.

The membership register of the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association contains the following information about orchestra members and community members:

Name of the orchestra or association Contact person's name and position in the organization Contact person's e-mail address, to which the association's announcements and membership fee invoices can be sent Postal address of the contact person to whom the association's membership magazine is sent Contact person's phone number An orchestra member can indicate several contact details (chairman, secretary, treasurer, conductor). The member indicates which contact information is primarily used for information and invoicing the membership fee. The member informs whether the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association can send other wind music-related information to the orchestra member's or community member's contact information.

The membership register of the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association contains the following information about personal members:

Name An e-mail address to which the association's announcements and membership fee invoices can be sent Postal address to which the association's membership magazine is sent Telephone number The member indicates whether the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association is allowed to send other wind music-related information to the individual member's contact information.

Administrator of the register:

The Finnish Wind Orchestra Association's membership register is maintained by the association's treasurer and executive director.

The member register is located in the cloud service behind the password. The password is known only to the board of the Brass Band Association. The Finnish Wind Orchestra Association does not maintain the register manually on paper.

Regular sources of information:

The information source for the membership register is the association's activity survey, which the members return annually. In addition, members can report contact information that has changed during the year directly to the contact information of the association's treasurer and secretary.

Registries other than those based on the membership register:

The Finnish Wind Orchestra also sends the membership magazine to stakeholders whose mailing addresses are kept in the address register. Information from the address register will not be disclosed to outside parties.

Regular transfers of information:

For the mailing of the member's magazine, the Finnish Wind Orchestra Association sends an updated mailing list based on the membership register and the address register of stakeholders four times a year by email to the printer, which is responsible for mailing the member's magazine. The mailing list will not be handed over to other parties.
